In this episode...

We kick off the show by talking about this weekend's home game against Braga. It was back to the 4-4-2, and the results were visible. Monotony, lack of creating chances, and an all around uninspired effort from Benfica, It took a moment of brilliance from the emerging Matic for us to seal a win, which quite frankly, could have very well ended up in a stalemate. Also related to the game, we look at Markovic attitude upon being subbed. Though a very common occurrence in modern football, can Markovic's gesture be interpreted as more than just a hot head moment?

With 1/3 of the season done, we take a look back at the differences between this year and the past 4 years. The results are not much different, which begs the question, are we a team with deficiencies, or is the deficiency within the league? We offer our opinions.

Next up the Anderlecht preview. Benfica travels to Belgium for a must win game, not only to keep our aspirations alive to make it into the next round of the Champions League, but also to book the parachute into the Europa League.

Lastly we preview Benfica's weekend fixture against Rio Ave. Now that we have shortened our deficit to first place to 1 point, we must continue to get positive results to keep pace, but the big question for this weekend is 4-4-2 or 4-3-3?
