Not really liking the promoted teams at the start. They are going to give double than they would on a normal season where they werent promoted/champions.

We better be ready to win.

Why are there no matches on October 9th or October 16th.

I love our schedule, we need to get 5 wins out of 5 early on so that we can head into Porto in jornada 6 and be happy if we only take a point.

International games are scheduled during that time, so it will be the Euro 2012 qualifiers for Portugal.

Euro 2012 qualifying will be around October 9th and as for October 16th it's probably going to be a weekend for Taca de Portugal games.

I agree that the promoted teams will fight for their lives but I think any time goes out guns blazing in the first few games. I think these should be easier wins.

I like how it steadily gets harder in the first few weeks, after those two it ramp us up for harder matches such as Nacional and Guimarães. All building up to our hardest test, Porto away. If we can pull of that run we can have an amazing start to the season.

Guys

Might not be the correct place for this but I want some information on tickets and in particular how easy is it to get them?

Are they generally available to the public for the big games too?

Yes. Portuguese stadiums almost never sell out.

Champions League Squad

Postby Benfiquista » Fri Sep 02, 2011 6:15 pm

Goalkeepers: (1) Artur, (39) Mika, (47) Eduardo, * (51) José Costa, * (52) Bruno Varela
Defenders: (3) Emerson, (4) Luisão, (14) Maxi Pereira, (24) Garay, (25) César Peixoto, (27) Miguel Vítor, (33) Jardel, * (36) Luís Martins
Midfielders: (5) Rúben Amorim, (6) Javi García, (8) Bruno César, (10) Aimar, (21) Matic, * (26) David Simão, (28) Witsel, * (37) Rúben Pinto
Forwards: (7) Cardozo, (9) Nolito, (16) Nélson Oliveira, (19) Rodrigo, (20) Gaitán, (30) Saviola, (35) Enzo Pérez
* Denotes B List

How the fuck is Peixoto on this list and not Capdevila :down Peixoto has said he doesn't want to play if his not put in the midfield (Thats not going to happen though because he just sucks ass) and what is going on with Capdevila and Jesus behind the scenes? BTW Now that a lot of players left us can we lower down some player numbers lol. Give Eduardo, Jose Costa, Bruno Varela, Luis Martins, Ruben Pinto, and Enzo Perez a lower number please lol.

We needed 4 players to be brought up at the club and 4 to be Portuguese no? That's the only explanation that Peixoto is there.

I think it's more to do with foreign players rule. I believe it was between Jardel, Rodrigo and Capdevilla, all non-Portuguese of course. So Jesus went for Rodrigo (to replace Jara) and for Jardel because he wanted more centre-backs.

It's not good for Capdevilla and will of course be angry. But we don't know if he assumed he was going to have a automatic place or Jesus didn't talk to him early enough about his intentions? Not sure.

Peixoto is not going to play a single game for us this season, even if he was chosen for the Champions League squad. I was thinking that why don't they just terminate his contract and put in a young youth product in his place.
