He has to be the worst winger that i ever seen on benfica. Seriously we cant get any one better for right wing. How is a 20 mil dollar player like Di Maria sit on the bench with teams like Real and Chelsea interested and we got this none skilled player starting for us. Braga would not even take this guy on loan. Come on the wings are some of the most important position on the field. This has to be fixed soon.

Ruben Amorim isn't a winger, maybe that's why he doesn't play well on the wing. It was Quique who opted for him to play in that position I believe.

Agree on your comments on Amorim...Di Maria is a skilled player but needs to bring the team into his game when on the pitch...
Hopefully JJ will sort this out during the Summer.
Also heard that Di Maria has said he would love to play for Real Madrid.....a little bit premature at this stage of his career I think...

Ruben Amorim is a great player, but Quique was playing him in the wrong position...No way in hell Ruben was a good winger...When Quique finally woke up, and started to play him in the defensive midfield role he did a great job...No doubt Jorge Jesus will stick Ruben in the defensive midfield role this season...After all it was Jesus who taught Ruben how to play in that position when the two were at Belenenses

We have Ruben, Yebda, and Ramires who can play in that position so it looks good to me. Losing Katsouranis and probably Binya meant that we could be short but 3 seems like a good number and easily rotatable if one is injured etc.

Ruben Amorim was asked some questions by the fans on the official website.

For some of the questions translated to English read Planet Benfica's entry here.

Queiroz has in my opinion been a disappointment. he has the talent, but he has no direction.
