Man I can't wait to see all of these new faces in action for the pre-season.

Do you think he'll be able to catch up with the team in swiz or just wait a couple of weeks before he joins in on the action?

I'm not sure how true this is but you always get one of the new players that has some bad luck. I wish him a speedy recovery. I'm happy the team over stacked on new players making events like these less damaging on the squad.

Argentinos reveal that Enzo Pérez wants to return to Estudiantes

The Argentine daily Hoy news on Saturday that Enzo Pérez confided recently that wishes to return to Estudiantes de la Plata as soon as possible, ie, at the opening of the transfer market in January. The player, 25, was hired by Benfica last summer and is currently recovering from arthroscopic right knee, held last September 23.

At the time estimated to stop three months. According to what is reported by the newspaper Hoy, to Enzo Perez has expressed intention to return to Argentina to meet the recovery program, which gives rise to a lack of adaptation to our Country Reports It was then that the player has arrived at Benfica the work pre-season preparations were underway, since the selection was part of Argentina.

At first even started playing as a starter, but was losing ground until he was injured. Believe that the best will then return to his former club.

I hope it isn't true. He could be like a 'new signing' for January once he recovers.

I just don't believe this rumour at all, he has been injured and has not shown his qualities yet. And its not that he hasn't got first team action, I think he would of had a decent amount of playing time under his belt had he not got injured.

Good! I don’t get why people are talking like he should be loaned out. This guy showed some good talent and got injured. Once he’s fit he’ll get playing time again.

I love how much depth we have on this squad and I want to keep it that way. If we want to make a league, CL, Taca, and Liga Cup run, we need this depth. Last thing I want to see is Nico or Nolito get injured for a couple of weeks and not have extra options.

I still think that he could be a really important player to our team in regards to the depth of the team. Hopefully when he recovers from his injury (should be any time soon) he can look forward to good football with a decent amount of starting IX playing time. :up

Agree with Forcas... Just heard he is refusing to return to Portugal after going home for the holidays... He is throwing a temper tantrum to get back to estudiantes and they are already releasing official press statements to defend themselves against tampering charges, saying they have had no formal contact with him or Benfica. Get this guy out of here now... Cant have a player who does not want to be here. Get Salvio back, remember when he said he would die for the shirt? And thats a loan player making those comments- those are the kinda guys we need!!

Salvio wants to come back to Benfica and thats a FACT! We need to do our utmost best to get him.

And good riddance Enzo, he hasn't really played anyway so won't be missed.

Enzo should only leave when he/someone pays us the money back, and that cash can be a contribution to Salvio's return ;)
