Over Enzo, yes but Bruno is starting to grow on me. I think Nolito is well above Salvio in what he brings to the team and he was a free transfer.

In a way I’m happy he’s not playing at the moment. His value will drop and he will want to return to our club even more. So hopefully in the next winter or summer transfer window we can push for a lower price with the player helping on his end.

I have to be honest I had forgotten about him......I am happy with our squad but would welcome him back to Benfica if he did come back to Lisboa

He came on and played the last 45 mins I think against Barcelona, not sure why they leave him out for the likes of Diego or Reyes, he was clearly one of their best players in the second half even though they lost 5-0.

To be honest, Salvio is not playing nearly as good at Madrid than when he was at Benfica.

Would love to have him back, but even if Gaitan is sold, and assuming Nolito and B Cesar are starting, there is still Enzo and Rodrigo and Urretta and Ismael Yartey and probably two more i forgot...

I think having him idle on the bench is hurting his game play. Also with Athl. paying games with his buyout, talking up like he was in their plans, and now he’s just a bench player, that should kill his motivation.

Just like in the summer, I would love to have him as part of our team but only at the right price. I think 10million would be the high end, I think they were out to lunch in pushing for 15million. Also if Nico gets sold for some nice money in the summer, you know Salvio would fit right back into the team and therefore it takes away that new squad feeling.

Anyways it’s September so it’s still way to early to start talking about next summer’s transfer window lol.

Well lets hope Nico doesn't get sold. It won't be a guarantee Salvio coming back to replace him.

Benfica Aware of the Situation of Salvio
I would be over the moon if we get little Salvio back :sim Surely his not worth the $20Mill Atletico were asking for during the summer. I say give Atletico $8Mill and get Salvio back to Lisbon!
