Regarding match tickets can you purchase online to be delivered to you or only to be collected at the Estadio?

Both, and the best option is to collect it there at the Megastore. No risk with post etc

Hey everybody,

Haven't been on here in awhile... Great to be back...just reading the posts above...that final against Chelsea...crazy

I was thinking about going back to the Luz for the last game of the season against Nacional (would be my 2nd game at the Luz and my 1st Portuguese League match). I'm a Socio (dropped down to 122466 from 249788), but figured everyone would want a ticket. I don't know how restrictive the sales are. I might try to buy the ticket from Casa do Benfica in Paris...I'll probably be in Paris when they start the sales.

Has anyone tried before that knows the process? 4 of the 5 last games of the season were on Saturday, so I'm guessing it will be on Saturday, May 14, but I don't know if that is a good guess

Thanks!

Last time I went to Portugal I was able to order online but it was for a CL game. I took a look on the official site and couldn't see an option for tickets when I click on that section.

On another note, anyone know what our total number of socio's are? I have my new number and I'm around the same range as MJM. Still some time before we'll being able to crack below 100,000 in ranking lol.

I got my ticket to the last Liga match of the season against Nacional! ...hopefully we will all have a great night!

Hope this post is helpful to someone else that wants to get a ticket online for a big match (sold out after 2 days of Socio sales and 1.5-2 hours of public sales, with public sales only at the Luz). This was my first time trying to buy a ticket for a match with high demand. It took me almost 3 hours after the sales opened to get a ticket. The whole time I got error messages at each step of the process at least once during the 3 hours. It was a lot of hitting the back button and logging in and out of different computers (wired and wireless DSL connection) to try to get a ticket. I never use Safari, but it seemed to work the best for me. At some point I realized, that if the error shows while you are during the check-out process, that going to the shopping cart you will sometimes find the ticket still there, although the icon says 0 items. After about 2 hours of trying to get a great seat, and seeing those sections fill up, I starting trying for really any seat, since I had already booked the flights. Going to sections with lower demand seemed to help a bit, but I could still not finish the whole process. I eventually got a seat in the upper section on the corner of Emirates and Coca-Cola. Def not as great as my 1st match at the Luz (against Barca) 1st row near the BENFICA bench, but it will be great to see my 1st Liga match

Let me know if you are going and want to meet-up
