Will be going to Portugal at the end of the month.....with the key WC games it means I will only be able to see the game against Setubal...
Anyone going and wants to meet up for a cold beer before the game let me know.

Will you be able to catch any WC quals home games? I remember a couple of years ago I managed to see PT x Poland and PT x Serbia at the Luz and Alvalade respectively. Was lucky to have to home games in the space of a few days though :)

hello lads , i am an everton fan. i have booked flights for the uefa cup game, but dont think i will get a ticket in the everton end.

a couple of questions, do eufa cup games sell out at the estadio de luz ?

where are the away fans seated?

can you buy tickets at the stadium on match day?

is there any outlets in the city center that sell tickets?

any help would be greatly appreciated, looking forward to seeing the city and the stadium.

Hi bluegazelles!

first off all, welcome!

No game should be sold out, especially uefa cup games. Only games like Sporting and Porto tickets are quite hard to get hold off. (non-members)

unless we win every game by a margin of 5-0, the Benfica x Everton game will never sell out.

Away fans are seated are normally accommodated at the Coca Cola stand, either bottom corner or the whole top section. (About 3,000 will be issued to Everton I guess)

You can buy tickets on matchday, go to the ticket office inside the Stadium precinct, but outside the stadium, and you will be bale to buy tickets there.

Just ask to be seated near the Everton away fans, I don't see why there should be a problem. Ticket price increases a further 2 euros on the day,

Not sure where in the city they will be selling, but i would suggest from the stadium precinct itself. very easy and quick to get to the stadium from anywhere in the Lisbon underground. Stop is Colégio Militar/Luz or Altos dos Moinhos.

Hope you have a good trip!

Any questions feel free to post.

Guys

I need some help I am going to visiting the Algarve a couple of times next year (both during the season) and want to know if its easily accesible to get from say Algarve to Lisbon so I can catch a couple of games?

Is public transport the way to go?

How easy is it to get tickets too?

You can either take the train or Rede Expresso (bus) to Lisbon, only a couple of hours and really easy.

Depends which games you are going to, it should be easy as walking to the ticket shop and getting a pair of tickets, even on the day if you wish!

Benfica v V. Guimaraes (Tickets)

Postby ballardberkeley » Thu Oct 29, 2009 2:09 pm

I will be in Lisbon for the weekend of 21/22 November, and want to know how easy it will be to get tickets for the Taca 4th round tie? Also, any recommendations for good areas of the ground to get tickets for gratefully received.

TIA

Tickets for this game will be easy. You can get them on the day (extra €2 charge) at the ticket office in the stadium precint (not inside the stadium, but inside the gates).

If you want atmosphere, go for Sagres Piso 0 Inferior, otherwise any of the central stands are pretty good too (good view and generally more people there)
